What we do

Bring a concept, sketch, problem or early CAD model. True Axis develops it into a considered mechanical design with the geometry, material intent and documentation needed for the next stage.

The approach

Practical detail.
Clear next steps.

01

Manufacturing-led thinking

Parts are developed with machining, fabrication, assembly and inspection in view—not as isolated digital models.

02

Clear design outputs

Receive structured CAD and drawings appropriate to the agreed project scope and downstream manufacturing workflow.

03

A practical review loop

Key decisions are surfaced early so geometry, fit, function and manufacturability can be reviewed before production.

Project workflow

A connected process.

Engage True Axis for one stage or carry the project through the complete workflow.

  1. 01

    Concept

Define the function, constraints and intended outcome.

  2. 02

    CAD development

    Develop geometry, interfaces and assemblies.

  3. 03

    Design review

Review fit, function and manufacturing approach.

  4. 04

    Documentation

    Prepare models and manufacturing drawings.

  5. 05

    Prototype

Build and evaluate the design where required.

  6. 06

    Production

Move into manufacture with a clear data set.

Project inputs + outputs

Useful detail, without making you solve the engineering first.

Upload the information you already have. True Axis reviews geometry, application, interfaces and inspection needs before confirming scope.

You can start with
  • A sketch or marked-up photo
  • Existing CAD or drawings
  • A physical component or assembly
  • The problem, function and constraints
Agreed outputs may include
  • Controlled 3D CAD to the agreed scope
  • Manufacturing drawings where required
  • Design review decisions and revisions
  • Prototype or manufacturing handover

Frequently asked

01Do I need a complete technical brief?

No. An idea, sketch, photograph, existing component or description of the problem is enough to begin a scoped review.

02Can an existing design be modified?

Yes. Existing CAD, drawings or a physical assembly can be reviewed for changes, manufacturability and updated documentation.

03Can the design continue into manufacture?

Yes. The same project information can continue into prototyping and manufacturing, subject to design approval and an agreed production scope.
